The location was perfect, close to Riobamba Cathedral. It was in a lovely area adjacent to restaurants and beautiful gardens, a superb base for me. The breakfast food was lovely, with different choices like coffee and meats.

Location: the hotel was very close to a delightful town at the foot of Chimborazo and the centre of Riobamba and good restaurants and local artisan market. The rooms where new-fashioned and spotless here with three beds and good lighting, as example. The place had a cozy atmosphere.

Nicely decorated and quaint hotel in a great area really close to taxis, all main Riobamba attractions and the restaurants. Friendly check-in, spotlessly clean rooms with balcony.

This is a classic boutique hotel. The staff and the facilities were excellent. They really exceeded my expectations. The hotel manager, Carlitos, was an amazing individual who made us feel very welcome. He made time to talk to us and we felt we got to know him and his hotel. The staff opened the very interesting downstairs bar for us. The food was great. Overall a very professional and gracious hotel. I would have liked to spend more time in Riobamba because of the hotel. Other organizations could learn from this hotel. It's a real gem not to be missed if you are in Equador.

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in the heart of a charming town. The location was perfect, with everything within easy reach. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the attention to detail was impressive. The rooms were clean and spacious, offering a comfortable and relaxing stay. I particularly loved the large bed and the balcony with a great view. And let's not forget the delicious breakfast with a variety of options, including eggs cooked any style and a savory espresso coffee.
All in all, my stay was absolutely wonderful, nothing to complain about.

We were overwhelmed by the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. As we could speak very little Spanish, we were very thankful for the assistance they gave us with some difficulties we had with our travel plans. The bookings manager Carlitos deserves extra thanks for this. Set in a beautifully restored century-old house, the rooms were very comfortable, although the mattress was a little harder than one of us likes. The hot showers were the best we have had in three weeks in Ecuador! Although we normally eat at little local cafes, the in-house restaurant offered very affordable food, which we enjoyed very much. The breakfast was also scrumptious. We also explored their underground tunnel, now turned into a great little bar. Hard to beat.
The bath at the base of the shower collected water which spilt onto the floor, no matter what you did with the shower curtain. This was only a minor problem though. A bath-mat would have helped with this problem, but we used a third towel.

The hotel was beautiful. The lobby had a fountain in the middle and plants hanging down from the balconies. There was a little garden area in back. The manager was concerned about morning noise by our room so he upgraded us to another room for the same price. This one had a jacuzzi in it, not just a large soaking tub. They were helpful making phone calls to Spanish-speaking people and translating for us. The food in the restaurant was very flavorful and reasonably priced.

Nothing negative about this boutique hotel.

The staff was delightful including the owner, British born Benjamin. The location was perfect in the centre of Riobamba. The restaurant was very good as was the included breakfast. There was even an affectionate cat! The room was well appointed. The decor throughout was delightful with lots of original art.
There could have been more lighting in the lounge for evening gatherings.

We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of our room, complete with a comfortable bed and crisp, clean linen. The hotel had a charming Spanish ambience and we loved the outdoor sitting area. It was a nice touch to have fruit and chocolate in the room. Despite the limited breakfast options, the staff were willing to make delicious omelettes. we had a very pleasant stay at Spa Mansion Santa Isabella.

Redone 100 year old mansion in the center of town. Very nicely restored with modern conveniences such as tubs in the bathrooms and free Wi-Fi in all rooms. Staff and owner were very friendly and helpful.
